Hair Fair 2012 – Bandana Day

Today is Bandana day the day Hair Fair ends but also the day we take out our prim/mesh wigs and show what the event is also about, besides new releases and the showcase for new and well known hair creators, It´s also about WIGS for KIDS who for years now have been providing Hair Replacement Systems and support for children who have lost their hair due to chemotherapy, radiation therapy, Alopecia, Trichotillomania, burns and other medical issues.

Last year the donation from Hair Fair raised almost 9.000 dollars, there is still a chance to top that number, either by buying more hair or check the Bandanas made by creators or even  bloggers exclusively for the event, and available for 50L each on all the Sims at the event.

Time to give some kids some hair by taking down our own, have a great sunday everyone.

Hair Fair 2012 – How high is the moon?

I do know today is the last day Hair Fair Day and also Bandana day when we take out our hairs and wear a one or more of all the exclusive Bandanas available for 50L at the fair, but i took these pics yesterday and had to show them, I will also show my favourite bandanas later on a separate post, in the meanwhile there is still some time for late shopping before the Fair closes.

Today i reach for the moon and later without hair again all for WIGS for KIDS, so now it´s time to take of your wigs and remind everyone what this event is all about.

Hair Fair 2012 – A day at the Beach

I know it seems like it started yesterday but Hair Fair is almost ending so today i bring you big post with quite a few shops, their point in common, i didn´t know them at all before the Fair, and that is one of the most amazing things about Fair you get to discover a bunch of new creators.

Since these where all kinda of casual i decided to go to the beach and enjoy some swimming under the golden sunset skies, and for that i wore this gorgeous and newly released bikini from BOOM, well only 3 models of it, since it comes in quite a few and in several colours.

Soon more Hair and lack of it has we approach the end of Hair Fair sadly. See you all later and let´s rock this weekend.

Hair Fair 2012 – Rosy Mood

More hair like promised and this time Rosy Mood, for a different look, more casual and definitely swinging, when i saw this new dress release by Geometry i knew the Rosy Mood hair would be perfect for it, nothing goes better with lace then  a short sassy hair.

I also wanted a different setting for these pics, because i tought the whole assemble and look seemed to tell a story, as usual when i wanna take pictures but don´t have a particular spot for it i browse thru LL´s Destination Guide, and that is where i found 1920’s Chicago, that seems to come complete with dangerous scared faced gangsters, lurking at corners, but certainly safe for a stylish girl like me, who can stand her own ground.

The setting seemed perfect for lace and long necklaces this one by Maxi Gossamer and available at this months Edition of COLLABOR88, and for glamorous women stepping out of old vintage cars, that fitted so well with short hairs, and some of my more flashy earing by Bliensen + MaiTai, while my favourite mules seems to add the final touch.

A small note be careful out there tho since the nite is dark and full of terrors, stick to the streets with lights, and watch out for them gangsters.

Hair Fair 2012 – Curious Kitties

Another day and more hair, as i´ve been doing for this past weeks, slowly going thru some, not all of course of the shops in Hair Fair, which has been pretty amazing this year, with a wide variety of, prim and mesh hair, casuals and formals, regular and fantasy, all sorts for all tastes.

But today i bring you Curious kitties, and a more fantasy look on a simple background so not to clash with all the vibrant colours, all HUD adjustable, also it´s available at the shop an awesome package of summer gifts so i advise anyone looking for some essentials, or just to make themselves familiar with the shop to stop by.

As usual we have a great attention to detail, easy customization and a lot of fun going on in your head, i´m also wearing one of the simpler versions of Sakide´s Ganache dress for this round of Zombie Popcorn, make sure to check all that.

But it slowly get´s dark and late here and is time for me to say goodnite and wait till tomorrow, since m Hair blogging is still far from over.

Hair Fair 2012 – Amacci

I´ve been busy lately, not blogging here but in other places, so sorry for the distraction i promise i will make up for it, but there are so many interesting things going on, first Zodiac  started, a new event i mentioned earlier and i´ve also blogged on the Hottie Cooterati blog for the first time, Something woke up the Lion, and since the theme is all Lionesque, and heated, i just can´t step way from warm and languid colours.

Also the heat rose this week and seems that after so many cool showers, summer arrived, strong and glorious, powerful and suffocating, at least here, with long humid and hot days.

I also blogged earlier today for Zombie Popcorn, where i got the dress i´m wearing here and wanted to show it in better detail, you can find it here: The Garden Cafe.

But today i also bring you hair and this time Amacci with these lovely golden tones, and prim based hairs, for those who asked about prim hair and can´t really use mesh based viewers, here it is.

Hair Fair 2012 – Zibska

Another day and another blog about hair, because Hair Fair is still going on until the 29th, and the donations for WIGS for KIDS, keep rising as the event is not even close to one week of being open. And today i bring you Zibska as i slowly go thru folders and folders of hair, hair demos, and Fair gifts, dollarbies and freebies.

Speaking of freebies by the way Zibska was pretty generous, you´ll find at their booth, i´m even wearing some here, the Nan hair is a Fair freebie, so are the earings and also the makeup, that come in a huge pack of several makeups in Berry, and also a lovely trio of bodysuits i´ll probably blog later.

As usual Zibska brings us fashionable over the top hairs, great not only for fashion pictures, but every day original or even fantasy looks, so please don´t forget to visit their booth.

I´m also wearing some awesome goodies from this months edition of  The Gallery Gift Shop, who just turned one, something rare in events, and that is celebrating the birthday with a new improved build and an awesome hunt, in the hunt you can find a matching envelope purse for this gorgeous dress by the boys at 22769, that i simply had to wear, and even go blonde for, so to compliment this pretty, light and soft colour of the dress.

Also from the The Gallery Gift Shop is this version of the Glam Affair Roza skin i can´t seem to take of lately.

Hair Fair 2012 – Hairoin and {frou-frou}

Another day and another hairy blog, and a sorry for not posting yesterday, but yesterday with the start up of Fluid, i did my usual blogging at The Ego Co. where apparently i was Playing with myself, and has you guys know i´ve been posting also there, and a couple other more blogs, since Mesh Around.

But today is all about Hair, and Hair Fair, this years edition started on Saturday, so basically this means 4 sims, all of SL hair designers, and raising some donations for WIGS for KIDS, it´s also about lag like any big event, so people please tone down, even go naked if it means not lagging out the sim.

Hair Fair 2012 – Discord Designs

Hair Fair is finally open, and the first impressions are, low lag and huge attendance, today i bring you all a bit more from it, this time Discord Designs and again i get to show you Kallisti Burns amazing mesh work and besides these 5 new releases, that include all the matching hairbases, you´also find a dollarbie at the Hair Fair shop both.

I´m slowly in the meanwhile organizing folders, sorting out tru all the demos and items to show, just remember folks when you do visit the Fair make sure to minimize your lag, and look at all the signs for how to improve your Fair experience. I have to say the organization this year has been impeccable, ready and visible info available, a low lag avatar set to offer, redelivery terminals at all the sops, i´m honestly amazed at it, and i´m sure you all will.
